Payment & Cancellation Terms

We understand that making a booking is a big commitment, and we want guests to be as clear as possible on our payment and refund policy before parting with your hard earned money. If you’re unsure of any of the following information or would like more clarity please feel free to contact us, and we’d be happy to talk you through it.

“Be fearless in the pursuit of what sets your soul on fire”

 Securing your booking

Upon choosing their desired escape and room, guests will be taken to the booking page where they will be given the choice of rooms and occupancy (single/double/shared etc).

As standard to secure an escape guests must pay a £500 per person deposit. Following an initial 7 day “Cooling off” period this deposit becomes NON-REFUNDABLE & NON-TRANSFERABLE except under very limited circumstances outlined below in “Cancellations & Refunds”

Once a booking is made, guests will receive an automated confirmation email to confirm their selection. If confirmation is not received within 48 hours please contact us on info@wherenextescapes.com and we will check the progress of your booking.

Paying your balance

All remaining balances are expected to be paid 15 weeks prior to any escape.

Guests will be sent a reminder of their payment date 1 week before. If the balance is not cleared and we do not receive communication from the guest we reserve the right to cancel that persons placement, and the deposit will remain non-refundable.

We often have suppliers and local partners that need paying, as well as waiting lists for escapes, so we really appreciate open communication regarding payments & cancellations.

If for any reason a guest is not able to pay their balance 15 weeks prior to the escape they should contact us as soon as possible to discuss alternative payment options.

Booking Flights

Where Next Escapes reserves the right to cancel the escape up to 12 weeks prior if guest uptake is insufficient. This policy is in place to ensure that guests receive the full “Where Next Experience” and aren’t only accompanied by one or two other guests. We therefore ask guests to wait for communication from us before they book flights.

Insurance

Guests are required to have a full, comprehensive travel insurance prior to attending our escapes. This is for their own protection, and to ensure that in the very unlikely event of an injury, illness or loss of property, they are dealt with quickly & efficiently, and compensated accordingly. Please check the proposed activities on your escape of interest and ensure the policy is sufficient

Cancellations & Refunds:

Following the 7 day “Cooling off” period stated in the “Securing your booking” section, all deposits and payments are non-refundable and non-transferable except for a very limited number of reasons:

  • Escape is cancelled by the host “Where Next Escapes”

  • Escape is unable to take place due to government restrictions/travel bans etc.

In the event that the escape is cancelled by us (Where Next Escapes) guests will be offered 2 options:

1) Transference of funds to an alternative escape within 24 months of the original booking

2) A full refund via the same payment method that booking was secured

Should the second scenario be true (government restrictions/travel bans etc.) the escape will automatically be rescheduled to an alternative date, and guests will be offered 2 options:

1) Continue with new rescheduled date

2) Transference of funds to any alternative escape within 24 months of the original booking

Late Bookings & Cancellations

Should a guest book onto an escape later than the expected payment date (15 weeks before) the “Cooling off period” does not apply and guest will need to pay the full balance instead of a deposit. This payment is non-refundable and non-transferable.

Payment Protection (PLEASE READ)

Please note that Where Next Escapes is not a member of ABTA or any registered body which protects customer payments in the unfortunate circumstance of company closure etc. It is therefore strongly advised that initial deposit is paid via Credit Card for the protection of your funds.
