How to book a Where Next Escape

Booking an active adventure escape with us is super simple, but we’ve put together this basic step by step guide to ensure you feel confident when clicking that “Book Now” button.

 Step 1:

Choose your escape location & dates

Depending on when you’re reading this, there may be anywhere from one to twenty escapes to choose from. Have a read through each location and decide which one of our amazing adventures you’d like to take part in. Check the dates work for you, and you’re ready to go!


Step 2:

Choose your room

We always try to ensure there’s a room for every budget, and where possible will offer share options for those wanting to keep costs to a minimum, up to deluxe options for those wanting a few more bells and whistles. Regardless of which option you choose, our standards are high and we never book sub-standard accommodation.


Step 3:

Click “Book Now” and pay your deposit

When you click “Book Now” you’ll be taken to the booking page where you’ll be asked to pay your deposit. Typically a deposit is £500 per person and this will ensure your escape is booked, and you’ll have nothing else to pay until 15 weeks before your escape.

For your protection we always advise booking with a credit card rather than debit card.


Step 4:

Wait for your confirmation email

Once your booking is made, you’ll receive a confirmation email. Should you not receive any confirmation email within 24 hours of your booking please reach out to us immediately. Your place is not guaranteed until you’ve received this email.


Step 5:

Don’t book flights

As tempting as it is, in this current climate we advise guests hold off on booking flights until around 3 months prior to their escape. This is to make it easier to work around any travel restrictions and because we reserve the right to cancel escapes up to 3 months prior if uptake is insufficient. We take this action as we do not feel guests will enjoy the full Where Next experience if they are in too small of a group.

Step 6:

Pay balance, book flights & buy a comprehensive insurance

Balances must be paid no later than 15 weeks prior to your escape. If you will need more time please contact us directly to discuss alternative payment plans.
We offer 3 options to pay your remaining balance:

  1. Bank transfer (no fee)

  2. Debit/credit card (3.5% fee)

  3. Paypal (3.5% fee)

Once your balance is paid we will advise you to book your flights. Please follow the guidance specific to your chosen escape for arrival/departure times.

We require proof of travel insurance prior to attendance of any escape.


Step 7:

Pack your things and let the adventure begin!

We’ll send you a packing list specific to your escape so you’ll know exactly what is needed to make your trip as smooth as possible…
Then, we’ll be waiting for your arrival!
