  • Today you’ll be picked up from Kilimanjaro International airport and taken to our partner hotel for the night where meet your fellow adventurers and your escape host (that’s me!)

Arrival day is always a chilled one where we allow people to arrive in their own time and unwind/socialise before all meeting for dinner in the evening.

  • Let the adventure begin!
Today we head out of Arusha and up to the stunning, volcanic landscapes of Lake Natron. Find out why this lake is known as one of the “deadliest” and most beautiful lakes in the world, and meet the local Flamingo population.
Guests will have the opportunity to witness footprints frozen in time from an ancient volcanic erpution and explore the wildlife of the lake.

  • Today we start with a gentle but beautiful hike to Ngaresero waterfall where guests will start their day with a refreshing dip, before heading on to visit the local Maasai community.
Learn about the Maasai way of life, their traditions and their history before jumping in the cars and heading North towards the famous Serengeti National Park.

  • Having stayed the night just a short drive from the park entrance we’ll be amongst the first vehicles to enter this world famous park.

Spend the day looking for Lions, Leopards, Elephants and everything the Serengeti has to offer, before stopping at one of the luxury lodges within the park for some lunch.

After lunch we continue our adventure though the park until we reach the South Gate and enter the region of Ngorongoro.

A short drive from the gate we’ll arrive for an offroad adventure around Lake Ndutu where the wildebeest gather to have their calves every year. This is an amazing opportunity to not only see millions of this beautiful animal, but also the predators who follow!

Our accommodation for the night is a beautiful bush camp where nature truly surrounds you.

  • The day starts with an early breakfast and a game drive around Lake Ndutu as we head towards one of the most historically important archeological sites in the world - Olduvai Gorge. Here you’ll have the opportunity to learn about our early ancestors who’s remains have been found in the area dating back 1.8 million years, before we head South, stopping at the largest intact, extinct volcanic caldera in the world and further towards our accommodation and the beautiful Lake Manyara.

  • Following breakfast we’ll head out to get a bit closer to the local community and learn about the area close to Lake Manyara. Learn about daily life in the town, explore the local market and taste the local Banana Beer they brew themselves, as well as meeting local artisans and browsing their goods.

After a local lunch it will be time to hit the road again and head back to the Town of Arusha where although it will be sad that the safari part of our adventure ends, you’ll be excited to get to the white sands and crystal clear waters of Zanzibar!

  • Zanzibar is calling!

We’ll be getting a morning flight to the paradise island to ensure as many daylight hours as possible can be spent by the pool on your first day!

Enjoy a day of relaxing, swimming, bronzing and enjoying a few cheeky cocktails by the pool.

    No agenda today, just bliss!

  • They say it’s one of the “Must Do” activities when in Zanzibar, and we agree!
Today you’ll spend the day sailing in the crystal clear waters, visiting sandbanks and snorkelling coral reefs.
It’s an amazing day of exploration!

  • Stone Town is one of Tanzania’s most important historical sites and today we explore on foot around this beautiful bustling town.
Explore the narrow streets and boutiques, visit important sites like the slave market and old fort. See the house where Freddy Mercury spent his childhood, and finish your day with seeing the famous “Stone Town jumpers” as they swan dive and backflip into the water during sunset.

We’ll end this day with a beautiful dinner by the water, before heading back to Paje for the night.

  • Just a short drive from our beautiful beachfront hotel is the Maalum Caves. These natural caves have a spring that creates serene, crystal clear pools. We will have the whole place to ourselves for you to swim, dive, explore and indulge in the sounds of nature.

After a relaxing morning it’s back to the hotel for our last day festivities… We’ll let you wait and find out about that though!!

  • Following a final group breakfast it will be time to say goodbye as you all slowly leave to catch your homeward flights.
